1. How to Be Bahaist This is a big thing that I didn't learn until after I became a bahaist. So the other day a friend of mine asked me this: "How do you deal with those'stupid' guys? How do you get to know them and know yourself?" I didn't have a clear answer. So I went on a date with this guy. He was the first guy I ever dated. We did it just before I was baptized so we're not really that good friends. I can only imagine the feeling of him being there when I am going through this experience. So let me try to help you out and share with you how to get to know someone. 1. Don't talk shit about your boyfriend. I was really scared of this. The thing is, he would always say things like "you are so beautiful" or "you are so good looking." No, no, no. We don't talk shit. We don't even like to gossip. We're not that type of girls, and if you talk shit about us, it would be very hurtful. Also, I'm from Columbia, and we don't get a lot of "look at me" kind of girls, so that kind of thing is kind of a pain. He also used to be a guy who liked to go out on a date with some girls, and I guess that's what happened, I guess. Anyway, he got a job working for his cousin's company. It was a company that did manufacturing for the US government and defense contractors, so I guess his cousin was doing some work for those guys. Anyway, it was a bit of a boring job and he was doing it because he loved it, so it was kind of weird and awkward for him. He did it all by himself, and he did it in his free time, so he was kind of a jackass, you know? Anyway, when I heard that he'd been fired, I was pretty upset. But then I thought he was actually kind of a nice guy, you know? He was not the type of person to be rude to anybody, but he wasn't a mean person either. In fact, he was probably one of the kindest people I've ever met. He was always kind of joking around with me, but he was also kind of serious about what he said. It was just the two of us, but he was definitely an amazing guy. Anyway, when I got home I thought about it, and then I came to my senses and went online and asked the president of the Columbia chapter of the baha'i to tell me what it is, and he did. He told me it's basically just like dating, except that the baha'i girl is the one in the bazaar, which means she comes to you to take what you give her, and she's actually kind of a bazaar seller. He also told me it's very easy, and that the baha'i girls don't have to be good looking at all. I was impressed by that, and I decided to go ahead and go for it. So now I've been out of my house for 2 months and met with my girl from the bazaar and I'm telling you: I'm in heaven. This bazaar thing is a lot more than just hooking up. It's like taking your girlfriend to the local bazaar and shopping her in. I had no idea how much it would be, but I was definitely very lucky.
My girlfriend and I from Columbia. She's a pretty girl with a nice body. I'm not the most popular guy in Columbia. She's in her early 30s, and was born and raised in Columbia. It's the most progressive city in America, and there are no religious restrictions in this little town, but there's always been a religious thing, and a way to pray on Sundays, and when you can't pray, you pray anyway. There are only a few restaurants and one or two bars, but we're not the best looking people in town. There are no hot people in Columbia either, though I guess that's kind of the point, we're both skinny. We both graduated from Columbia College, so we're good looking. She's pretty good looking too. And we both work for the same corporation in this company town. We both wear black shirts and jeans. We both eat the same food. We both like the same kind of music. We have this really great relationship. We've known each other for over six months now. We're both single but I'm single for real. She's been my friend since we met and we have never had a girlfriend. My question is how do you find out if someone is a bahaist. Is there a website? What kind of questions to ask? Should I go to one or the other?
Hi there! Thanks for asking. Bahaism is a religion, and most bahais are secular. That's why there's not a website out there that tracks bahais. A friend of mine recently gave me this link to a bahaist dating website called "Religious Life of Bahais".
